I turned one last October 6, 2007. We held my party at Hard Rock Cafe Makati in Glorietta. I had fun seeing dada and mommy on stage. Had fun seeing lots of kids! Had fun seeing familiar faces. Mommy thinks I'm now Vera Kulit and not Princess Vera. Well, I'm growing and I'm learning new things. I'm using my new found ability, to walk! I like roaming around the house with or without any help. Yep, you read it right! I can now walk on my own though they still follow me where ever I go. What I'm practicing now is how to stand on using the floor as support. My tushy seems heavy

As of September 8, I had the courage to try to stand on my own. Of course I did it on the bed with dada's tummy as support. *teehee* I was able to hold myself steady for 10 seconds. wipeee!!!~*~*~*~*~*~*As of September 15, I tried walking on my own. We are busy preparing for my first birthday. Mom's busy with the details while I am busy learning to stand and walk on my own. june 9 - we transferred from Southfield to Saginaw. It was a long trip. I don't like seating in my car seat for long hours. june 14 - rashes, rashes, rashes. Rashes everywhere!june 18 - A-ma joy and a-ko jesi arrived from NY! june 19 - went to see Dr. B for my rashes. She had me tested for allergies. I was allergic to egg whites. It was sunny last Saturday. Mommy persuaded dada to jog so we can go out. We waited for dada at the barbecue station and stayed there for sometime. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. My head circumference is at 25th percentile, weight at 50th percentile and height at 75th percentile. I'm tall!I started eating solids yesterday! I liked what mom prepared in the morning, Cereal with breastmilk. I finished it all unlike last night's meal. It was prepared with water. I don't like water! mommy was teasing me yesterday by placing the tip of the fork near my mouth. There was a little piece of pancit that i was able to get with my tongue. Mommy panicked and tried getting it out of my mouth, and she was successful. Persuaded by other mommies, mom tried giving me a piece of her bread. She was so happy to see me eating! 5 days ago, i was able to roll from my tummy to my back but mommy won't believe that i can really do it. i did it once every day after that. But this morning, every time mommy moves me near the wall, she founds me near the edge of the bed. she believed that i really can do it and waited for me to do it again so she can take some souvenir. have fun watching!
